#1 - +10 critical strike to my heart
Well, here it is.  I've been meaning to turn this whole "Dorm Life" thing into a comic for quite some time now, and this weekend I gulped a breath of fresh air, put my "determined face" on, and a few sandwiches later I have a small site and my very first strip to show for it.  Hooray for me, hooray for progress.  Bear with me as I get this ball rolling.

Why dorms, you ask?  There's something so endearing about the experience in my memory, and there is such a long list of delightful situational comedy that arises with so many people living ten feet away from one another at all times.  I also plan to accompany each strip with a topical blog post detailing the where, what, and how when it comes to living in the dorms.  A cheat sheet, if you will, for any folks who themselves may be holed up in a college living space somewhere.

As for the comic and its popularity, I can say in all honesty that I do not know what kind of reaction and reader base this comic is going to receive, if any. But, whichever way the tide turns, I've made it a personal goal to release a comic three times a week; on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.  And by golly, I'm going to do it.

As a parting note, I just want to state for the record that most of what I plan to write about will be based on my own personal experiences.  The characters are composed of little bits of a lot of people I knew and interacted with while I was in school, but none of them relate directly to any specific person (with the exception of Thelma, who is a lot like myself).  All other characters are fictionalized.
